In 2018, we launched PhilDev Awards as a testament that when we work together, we can make a difference. Philanthropy Ally of the Year
Since the 1960’s, Lee Lester, Linda’s dad, had a vision for eventual development in the Valley, leading his family into Commercial Real Estate, and to this day, Linda continues on with the Real Estate investment vision lead by her father – Lee Lester.
Linda’s father was a philanthropist, usually giving anonymously, and Linda learned at a very young age, the importance of giving back as well as the personal fulfilment it continues to give her. Linda is happy and proud to continue on by helping to nourish the lives of many, as well as focusing on the lives of the underserved.

Mark Arcenal of Illest
20+ years of design experience. Mark started his design career as a designer and worked his way up thru the ranks of Jr. Art Director, Art Director, Sr. Art Director, Creative Director and finally Design Director. From the many clients and colleagues he’s met throughout his design career, he has been fortunate to work with many of today’s Fortune 500 Companies. Illest, Nike, Gap, Adidas, Beats By Dre, Mooneyes, Hot Wheels and Electronic Arts are a few companies he’s created experiences for. Known to many as one of the pioneers and influencers in many lifestyles, he orchestrates authentic brand experiences.

Ritche Desuasido (DJ Yogafrog) and Richard Quitevis (DJ Qbert) of Thud Rumble
Thud Rumble LTD. is a diversified media management company committed to showcasing and expanding the world of the skratch DJ.
Founded in 1996 by Ritche "Yogafrog" Desuasido & Richard "DJ Qbert" Quitevis, Thud Rumble was built from a shared determination to push the envelope of skratching as a science, an art and an international culture. By creating their own wholesale distribution facility and global e-commerce network, Thud Rumble has pioneered the world's finest and most creative artists' labels.
Zark is the Founder of Zark’s Burgers, a burger joint in the Philippines known for its monster-size yet still affordable burgers. Zark operates 50 stores in 23 cities across the Philippines, expanding on a rate of about 15 to 20 stores annually.
As a self-taught entrepreneur, Zark made his way to become a legitimate player in the Filipino food world. He also became one of the youngest appointed members of Endeavor Philippines—a global non-profit that provides access to entrepreneurial mentorship support, alongside powerhouses such as Injap Sia, Jaime Zobel de Ayala, and more.

Emily Nishi of Lyft
Emily is the Chief People Officer at Lyft, a company driven by its mission to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. Just as Lyft strives to connect people to their communities and their cities, Emily sees her role as bringing Lyft team members together toward a shared mission and creating the best place for people to do their best work.
Prior to joining Lyft in 2017, Emily was YouTube’s global head of People Operations where she led the organization development, talent strategy, and human resource operations for the team that delivers YouTube to over 1.5 billion users around the world.

Jennifer Cabalquinto of the Golden State Warriors
Jennifer Cabalquinto is the Chief Financial Officer of the Golden State Warriors. In this role, she oversees all day-to-day and long-term financial planning, accounting and treasury operations for the organization. She is also responsible for the planning and leadership of IT and facilities departments.
Jennifer Cabalquinto has over 25 years finance leadership experience in a variety of start-up, turnaround, stable and high growth business environments. Jennifer serves on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland, Alameda County Community Food Bank and is on the audit committee for Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics (LEAP). She is also on the advisory board for San Francisco State University’s College of Business and S.U.N.Y Binghamton’s School of Management. Beginning January 2019, Jennifer will also serve on the Board of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.
Educator of the Year
Teach for the Philippines: Clarissa Delgado, Lizzie Zobel, and Margarita Delgado
Teach for the Philippines is a for-purpose, non-stock, non-profit organization that works to provide all Filipino children with access to relevant and excellent education. We enlist some of the country’s most promising young leaders to teach for 2 years in public schools throughout the Philippines. Through training and experience from the classroom, Teach for the Philippines transforms them into leaders who will advocate for education equity.
Founded in August 2012 by Lizzie Zobel, Margarita Delgado, and Clarissa Isabelle Delgado, Teach for the Philippines stands on the shoulders of giants: the Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation, and Teach For All.
