Technopreneurship Faculty Training 2019
On September 16 to 21 2019, PhilDev, in partnership with UNDP in the Philippines and the Australian Embassy in the Philippines through the Innovation for Social Impact Partnership (ISIP) project, will conduct a Faculty Training to support the implementation of T101 and to further strengthen the capacity of professors in teaching the subject, integrating social impact frameworks.
PhilDev and UC Berkeley co-designed the training modules which aim to enhance the current outline of the T101 subject by integrating social impact/social entrepreneurship concepts in its design.
Over 70 professors will participate in the five-day training. At the end of the training, they are expected to (1) ensure the roll-out of the enhanced Technopreneurship 101 subject integrated with social impact and social entrepreneurship concept(s); and (2) mentor students in their capstone projects, upon their return to their respective universities.
