The Social Impact Accelerator was created in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade-Australia (DFAT-Australia) through the Innovation for Social Impact Partnership (ISIP). The main goal of ISIP is to support promising innovative Social Enterprises (SEs) in the Philippines to be able to collectively contribute to the achievement, acceleration, and sustainability of the SDGs.
The Social Impact Accelerator provides Filipino social enterprises with a year of tailored support, six months of which is an intensive program, to seek investments and scale their innovations. The accelerator helps lead companies with validated business models (with proof of revenue or market traction) and at least a year of operations into growth through a dedicated program and guided mentorship to accelerate traction and revenue and secure financing.
By the end of the program, admitted SEs are expected to leap into credible, investible, and sustainable enterprises equipped to access bigger, wider, and more varied funding opportunities and grow both their business and their impact to the society. The SEs are expected to be able to access funding either through a bank loan, pre or Series A investments or venture capital investments.
