Technopreneurship Faculty Training

Due to the success of the VPP and UC Berkeley-SCET programs, the Commission for Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines has introduced Technopreneurship 101, a basic entrepreneurship course crafted for engineering and technology courses into the college curricula by 2018.

With the establishment of Technopreneurship hubs (TechHubs) in higher education institutes, these centers will house Master Trainers who will train professors on the subject of technopreneurship and become centers of excellence and learning in their area or region.

PhilDev will enlist US-based professors and entrepreneurs to teach 200 master trainers, who will in turn pass this knowledge on to a projected 2,000 additional professors
