On Feb 2-7, the Impact Boost Camp brought together various social enterprises from all over the Philippines to help scale their business and impact. The activity is part of the Innovation for Social Impact Partnership project which is co-implemented by PhilDev, UNDP in the Philippines, supported by the Australian Embassy in the Philippines.

Various learning sessions and workshops were conducted during the 5-day camp to help early-stage social enterprises streamline their business processes and scale their impact. The Impact Boost Camp is a compressed version of the Social Impact Accelerator and focuses on key topics on refining strategy and purpose, finding fit, business modeling and governance, strengthening team structure, forging strategic partnerships, and financing for growth.

One of the sessions in the Impact Boost Camp is the Fireside Chat with PhilDev Trustee and CEO of PayMaya, Doy Vea. Doy shared his journey and lessons learned from building companies like Voyager Innovations and PayMaya.

PhilDev also hosted one of the networking events during the camp. The Mixer was held at The Ark in Makati City. PhilDev’s Founder and Chairman, Dado Banatao, along with newly installed Co-Chairman Paco Sandejas welcomed the participants to the event. Unionbank Chairman and CEO, Justo Ortiz, also attended the event. These mixers aim to connect the entrepreneurs with investors, funders, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs. — The ISIP Impact Boost Camp is one of the activities under the Innovation for Social Impact Partnership (ISIP) project which is co-implemented by the PhilDev and UNDP in the Philippines, supported by Australia in the Philippines.
