How the PhilDev Scholarship works

PhilDev believes that a science and engineering education plays a critical role in accelerating inclusive economic growth. The goal of PSES is to increase the ratio of science and engineering practitioners in the Philippines. We aim to help students achieve their best in school and flourish as professionals.
Scholarships are given to students who are entering their second year (or upwards) in any STEM course (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) from university partners across the Philippines.
It’s simple! Just browse the available scholarship opportunities in our partner universities. Review the eligibility criteria and requirements. Once done, submit an application through the university website/form.
Unfortunately, we are currently offering the scholarship to students who are at least on their second year in college.
Our university partners take the lead in reviewing scholarship applications. Below are the next steps on the application:
- Once all applications are received, our university partner will create a shortlist of applications which will then be forwarded to the PhilDev Scholarship team.
- Our Scholarship team will review the shortlisted applications and conduct interviews with the prospective scholars.
- After the document review and interviews, we will inform the prospective scholars about the results of their application (whether accepted or not).
