Following the Cemex definition, “the early-stage [startup] indicates the beginning of a phase in which the idea is left to evolve until it becomes a product or service in the market.”

This is the stage where the business is still defining its business and revenue models.

In the IDEA incubation program, participating startups will undergo  market-readiness assessments which reviews if a startup is ready to go to market with useful, useable and used outputs.
